All-Purpose Cleaner

Need an excuse to start cleaning?…

This is my all time favorite cleaner! It has the best non-toxic ingredients and literally takes a minute to put together. I have been using this particular recipe utilizing OnGuard + Lemon for YEARS! It’s really effective at disinfecting the home and getting rid of grease and grime. Lemon is by far the best degreaser! OnGuard has been my go-to essential oil blend for disinfecting and helping to rid those germs that no one wants lurking around.

I like using this all-purpose cleaner on my windows, car interior, kitchen countertops, toilets, sinks, coffee tables,...the list goes on. It’s so safe that I would feel completely okay if my kids licked the table after I cleaned it…yet I’d be weirded out, ha ha. And it's reassuring to know that there are no harmful chemicals, especially with 4 kids touching everything ha ha.

With having 4 kids, I so appreciate recipes that take no time at all to throw together. Especially when you have a messy situation and need to refill your spray bottle in a pinch. With the recipe above, it’s so easy and quick.

I have tried lots of different combinations as far as cleaning goes, and this one is tried and true to work. Essential oils are so incredibly versatile, so you’ll find that there are many oil single and blends that have cleaning capabilities. Be brave and try out other combinations! Tips & Tricks

• When trying to do 2 tbsp of the cleaner concentrate, just do 2 decent squirts (squeezing about 2 seconds, 2 times) of the solution into the spray bottle.

• Always use a glass spray bottle to prevent essential oils from eating through any low quality plastic.

• Be sure to shake the spray bottle before spraying to evenly distribute the essential oils that may be sitting on top of the solution.

• If you need a bit more cleaning power, feel free to add more drops of essential oil to the mix.

• Play around with different oil combinations. Look above for some great cleaning combos.

• Now get cleaning!
