Sunflower Butter
If I said you could make a “butter” with only 1 main ingredient, would you try it? Yes, it is that easy. Seriously!
I love when I can use pure ingredients to make a delicious and incredibly healthy snack. This Sunflower butter recipe includes Sunflower seeds + an optional sweetener if you desire to add one. I personally like to use honey. But you can absolutely keep it just the seeds. It’s still delicious!

tips & tricks
Roasting the seeds before hand releases oils within the seed and will give the butter a nice flavor with a creamier texture.
Adding a sweetner is completely up to you. A few healthier option are honey, pure maple syrup or coconut sugar.
Be patient with the food processor — the longer you process, the more oils are released = creamier texture.
If you make a big batch, you can freeze what you won’t be eating it right away.
Try it!
