Honey Oatmeal Soap
I adore these sweet little soaps. This recipe is quick, easy and look at how adorable they turn out! Why make your own soap, you might ask? Well, they do make the cutest gifts, am I right? But what many may not realize is the fact that many commercial soaps are made of ingredients that can be drying to the skin, damaging to the skin cells, and even can disrupt hormones if used consistently.
Check out how incredibly easy these soaps are, and I encourage you to take 15 mins to try these out.
I have loved spoiling my friends and family with these as gifts for birthdays, Christmas’s, baby showers, or just because. And let’s be fair…myself too!
To scent my soaps my favorite thing to use is essential oils. What’s better than using a scent that comes from its natural source? I also love how they help hydrate and cleanse the skin, and they provide many other healing properties.
The combination that I really have been loving recently are Eucalyptus & Wild Orange. Paired together, they are very uplifting and energizing, as well as supportive to the immune and respiratory systems.

Tips & Tricks
Be sure to let the mold dry and harden for a few hours
The quicker you can transfer the soap base + ingredients to the mold after turning off the heat the better. It hardens quickly!
You can use whatever essential oil you want to these soaps. Be creative! I always enjoy a citrus oil, which are good paired with a fir oil like Siberian Fir or Douglas Fir, you can pair them with a flower oil like Lavender or Patchouli.
Attached below is the soap mold I used.
Try it, you’ll love them!
